48 hour turnaround time, the status of your MRA will be emailed back to you.

15% Restocking fee applies to not needed return items. If a return label tag is requested, a minimum $9.00 fee will be applied to not need and core items. Defective items must be requested within 90 days from date of invoice. Core items must be received by Andrews within 60 days from date of invoice. Stock returns must be requested within 30 days from the date of invoice. For wrong part research, the turnaround time may be up to 72 hours.


Return Policies

No merchandise will be accepted for "return" without a Merchandise Return Authorization (MRA)

Requests for an MRA for any part must be received by Andrews Electronics within 30 DAYS from the date of the invoice for that part and must include proof of prior purchase from Andrews Electronics (invoice number and date). Does not apply to defectives. Product with MRA must be shipped back within 30 days of MRA issue date. A special shipping address label provided by Andrews Electronics must be used to ID your package.

No “collect” shipments will be accepted

All parts returned to Andrews Electronics stock are subject to a restocking charge of (normally) 15%, but no less than $3.00. Parts, which were “special” ordered that are not normally carried in Andrews Electronics’ stock, are not returnable (except for in-warranty replacement) for credit.

Unused Part Return Requirement

All returnable parts (except “cores” or “duds” and defective items) must be in saleable condition, new, unused, in the original unblemished factory packaging, with the original seals, if any, intact. If an unused part is found to NOT be in saleable condition you will be responsible for all fees related to handling that part. Stock returns must be requested within 30 days from the date of invoice.

Returns of cores, duds, and defective parts (JVC, Hitachi, Philips, Polaroid, or Sharp)

Cores, duds and defective items cannot have any signs of physical or environmental damage. They must be returned in the original unblemished factory packaging sent with the replacement part. If cores, duds and defective items is found to have any physical or environmental damage you will be responsible for all fees related to handling that part. Defective items must be requested within 90 days from date of invoice. Core items must be received by Andrews within 60 days from date of invoice. Fees for Damaged and Unused Parts

1.) Subject to a repacking fee in addition to the restocking/handling charge and/or
2.) Returned to you at your expense and/or
3.) Scrapped by Andrews Electronics, with no further liability to the customer on Andrews’ part.

No single “return to stock” credit will be processed for merchandise with a total value of less than $15.00.

Core Return Guidelines (JVC, Hitachi, Philips, Polaroid, or Sharp)

All core returns must meet the following guidelines:
1.) Cores must be received by Andrews within 60 days of original invoice.
2.) All cores must be returned in the manufacture’s original box or container, cores returned not in original Packaging will not be accepted.
3.) Cores must be in good condition, cores that are cracked, burnt, dusty or missing components will not be accepted and will be returned at the customer’s expense.

Damaged or Short Shipments and Wrong parts received

Any shipping claims must be made within 5 days from date of receipt of goods. Keep all packaging material intact. Notify the carrier immediately if there is damage to the contents.

Wrong Part Shipped

If a part returned to Andrews Electronics, which is not in accordance with the issued MRA, the part will be returned to the sender at the sender’s expense. This includes:
1.) Wrong part shipped.
2.) MRA Expired (30 days allowed from date of issue on unused and defective parts. 60 days from the date of original invoice for all cores).
3.) Right part, but wrong MRA based on original invoice data on the box of the returned part (Paperwork must match 100%).

Defective Guarantee

99% of all products sold by Andrews are warranted for 90 days from the date of the original invoice. Defective items will be exchanged only, A credit for an in-warranty item will be issued only if two (2) prior purchases during the warranty period from Andrews Electronics are documented. No charge replacements for previous defective parts are non returnable.
